How to draw a hoodie

At present – let's get to business.

In this drawing lesson I'll teach you how to depict a hoodie, from 2 different angles: Back and side!

The chief thing that makes drawing hoodies special is… you guessed it – the hood!

The rest of the hoodie works just similar any other sweater / shirt. Folds are mainly around the armpits, shoulders and waist.

Here are a few tips on drawing the hood

Remember the hood comes out the dorsum of the hoodie (confusing, huh? =P). Information technology is actually connected to the back, correct below the back side of the cervix.

Here is what it looks like when it'southward resting on the back.

Find how the material bunches up, creating many folds.

Also, retrieve that if your character tilts its head, the hood will move with it.

Here is an example:

In this example, the guy's head is turned to the right, causing the hood to stretch. This causes that LONG diagonal fold.

Likewise, notice how the back of the hood is usually more than arable in folds.

This happens because the excess cloth tends to move there.

This is all there is to it! Practise drawing hoodies from dissimilar angles, and with different positions of the hood itself.
